Principles of natural running

This amazing video from Dr. Mark Cucuzzella over at the Natural Running Center is one of my personal favorites. As I went through the process of learning how to run (again), I must’ve watched this video on Principles of Natural Running a hundred times to better understand body mechanics and running posture. Very inspirational.

Some key take-aways from this video are mid-foot strike, straight back, slight lean forward, landing directly under the body, relaxed shoulders and arms, looking straight ahead and just simply flowing through effortlessly.
